Richard Cordry, jd '75, was born July 5, 1945. He graduated from Clifton High School in Clifton, Kan. He earned his B.A. from Wichita State University in 1972. While at the Washburn University School of Law, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. From 1965 to 1969, Cordry served in the United States Military. He began practicing law full time in Kansas from 1978 to 1986 and he was an editor of medical malpractice columns for the Journal of Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. He was a partner at the Wichita firm of Michaud, Cordry, Michaud, Hutton and Hutton. He is now in practice in Mount Holly, N.J. at the law office of George T. Kotch. Cordry has four children and three grandchildren.
