Dr. Grace Sawyer Jones most recently served as the President of Three Rivers Community College. She retired in June of 2014.

She had a distinguished career in higher-education. Dr. Jones was named Vice President for Multicultural Affairs at the State University of New York, College of Oneonta, in 1990. She was also a tenured professor while at the college of Oneonta. Prior to taking the position as president of Three Rivers Community College, Dr. Jones was the president of the College of Eastern Utah, a position she began in 1996.

Dr. Jones earned her Ph.D. in organization behavior from the Union Institute, her master's degree in community recreation with group work method from George Williams College, and her bachelor's degree in physical education from Washburn University. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Phi Sigma Chi, and Modern Dance Club while at Washburn.

Dr. Jones began her work as a secondary physical education and science teacher in Chicago, Ill. She later taught at Berkshire Community College, in Pittsfield, Mass. During almost ten years of service at Berkshire, she served as faculty and coordinator of the recreational leadership program, coordinator of student activities and the college union, and as director of personnel services.
