Dr. Jerry Williams was born December 9, 1942. He graduated from Wichita North High School and Hutchinson Community College. Jerry received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Washburn University in 1965. While at Washburn, he was a starter on the basketball team, and taught and cared for children at the Menninger Clinic. Jerry began his teaching career at Illinois State University. In 1980, he took a position in administration at the University of South Alabama and spent ten years in that position before going back to teaching at the University for an additional fifteen years, retiring in 2005. During retirement, Jerry has worked with golf professionals as a sports psychologist.

Jerry is married to Jeny Williams. Jeny was born June 7, 1942. She graduated from Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College before attending Washburn to study mathematics. Jeny received her bachelor's degree in 1964. She went on to work in the computer science field.

The Williams enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandchildren.
