Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is the largest health insurer in the state with a nearly 70-year tradition of serving Kansans. Equally as long is the company's tradition of supporting the communities in which those Kansans live. Since the company's earliest days in 1942, Blue Cross has taken to heart its responsibility to be a good corporate citizen.

The support that Blue Cross gives takes many forms -- cash donations, volunteerism, in-kind services and partnerships -- and is generated through the generosity of the company, its 1,500 individual employees, and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation.

Blue Cross, its employees, and the Foundation strive to support a variety of organizations and initiatives that work to improve the overall health of Kansans and the communities in which they live.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation are independent licensees of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
