Richard C.  Hite

Richard C. Hite, jd '53, was born September 13, 1928 in Iola, Kan. He grew up in Hiawatha, Kan. and graduated from Hiawatha High School. He received a B.S. from the University of Kansas in 1950. He earned his J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law in 1953.  While at Washburn Law, he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He joined the U.S. Air Force on an ROTC commission, and served three years as a judge advocate, gaining experience in both defense and prosecution at many courts martial. He is currently a partner in the Wichita law firm of Hite, Fanning & Honeyman L.L.P.
