Greg Brenneman, bba '84 and honorary doctorate '99, a self-described "Kansas farm boy," was born on November 26, 1961. Brenneman grew up in Hesston, Kan., a small community north of Wichita. While at Washburn, Brenneman was involved in Alpha Delta, Student Council and the Accounting Society. He was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Sagamore men's honor society. After graduating from Washburn, he attended Harvard Business School and earned his M.B.A. in 1988. Greg worked for Arthur Anderson for two years and then he worked for Bain and Company, a consulting firm based in Boston.  Beginning in 1995, Greg served as Chairman, CEO or President for Continental Airlines, Burger King, PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting firm, Quiznos and CCMP Capital Advisors. Ronda (Doole) Brenneman, b ed '84, was born on February 7, 1962. She graduated from Topeka High School and then from Washburn. Greg and Ronda met at Washburn and married shortly after they graduated. They have three children.
