In 1922, Fidelity Bank opened for business at 600 Kansas Ave. in Topeka. It was founded by J.H. Collingwood and later sold to Anderson Chandler and the Chandler family in 1958.  Chandler currently serves as the CEO of the bank. All of the Fidelity associates are active volunteers in the community serving in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA, Family Service & Guidance Center and other charities. Several of the officers are Washburn University graduates and Fidelity State Bank continues to serve the Washburn and Topeka community in both time and resources.
