Eunice (Geiger) Moyer, ba '21, grew up in Oberlin, Kan. She, her sister and her brother, Willard Geiger, ba '24, all attended Washburn. After Washburn, Eunice taught in southeast Kansas for two years and after a bout with influenza, she moved to Madison, Neb. She taught English and French at the high school from 1926 - 1932. She then married George Moyer. Eunice's estate established the Madison Foundation trust.

Her son, George H. Moyer, Jr., is trustee and attorney for the foundation. He was born in Madison, Neb. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska in 1962. He is a member of the Madison County, 7th Judicial District, Nebraska State and American Bar Associations.  He has membership in the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys where he served as a director from 1975 through 1979, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America where he served as a director from 1969 through 1970. Moyer served as state committeeman from 1973 through 1975, and as a governor from 1977 through 1980.
