Jere Noe, bba '59, was born on November 17, 1932. He graduated from Carbondale Rural High School in 1950. He graduated from Washburn magna cum laude with departmental honors, was a MacVicar Scholar, a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Gamma Mu. He majored in general business and accounting and was a member of Tau Delta Pi. Noe began his career by working for Santa Fe Railway after high school, followed by a stint in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. After the Army, he began attending classes at Washburn, followed by a career as a CPA. He retired as a member in 1999 and continues to work as an account administrator for the firm as of August 31, 2014.  Before his retirement, he was a partner and member in the firm of Wendling, Noe, Nelson & Johnson.  He is married to Carol (Clowe) Noe, who graduated from Emporia State University in 1957.  She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma. The Noes have three children.
